My most recent job search experience was significantly aided by the support I received from Career Moves.

Navigating the job market can sometimes feel overwhelming and can sometimes feel like traversing a dense jungle but the support I received from Toni was multifaceted. Toni took the time to understand my strengths, weaknesses and my career aspirations. Working alongside Toni has not only equiped me with the tools to secure the job but also with the confidence and skills to thrive in my new role at City Fitness in Tauranga.Finding a job can be a long and difficult process. The work environment is challenging and can be difficult for young people who are entering the workforce. Remember that job searching is a journey, not a sprint. Toni has unique skills and experiences that are valuable, during the whole process she maintained a positive mindset having Toni there through the entire process with each application and interview is a step forward even if it didn’t feel like that in the moment for me. Each experience helps the client refine their approach and build resilience. As the job market is always changing. Toni makes the clients she works alongside as comfortable as possible in the role they are applying for. She is always there for guidance and support when needed. She understands that finding a job for people with disabilities is sometimes a struggle. So if your struggling with your job search, I highly recommend actively seeking out similar support services. The investment in yourself will undoubtedly pay off and will be well worth it.

I really value you and the team 🩷 The one-on-one sessions each week have made a massive impact, especially in our current space of the hardship our students have already gone through since opening. Our students have gained so much confidence, developed a stronger sense of self-awareness, and are now far more aware of the opportunities available in the real world of work.

The personalised approach of exploring each student’s skills, passions, and interests has helped them not only identify potential career pathways but also take responsibility for their own progress and input. I really appreciate how job applications are followed up, and how students are regularly checked on.The consistent guidance and encouragement from Vicky and the team ensure that students feel supported every step of their journey.You guys are the one provider that I actually feel relieved to have in! It’s been wonderful to see their motivation and engagement grow as a result, and I see that we are really starting to get our numbers up finally. I am very grateful for the genuine care and effort your team puts into the programme. It’s clear that your staff love what they do, and that positive energy flows directly into the students’ experiences. Thank you again for all the work you’ve done this year.
